Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Mildenhall, UK
Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: £11.44 - £12 per hour
Behalf of our client Mildenhall-based manufacturing business specializing in high-quality metal and storage products. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Stores Person to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
We are looking for a hardworking individual who can take initiative and provide additional support to other departments when needed. The ideal candidate will be efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of contributing to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and components. Ensure accurate stock levels through regular stock checks and inventory record maintenance.
Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Organize and store delivered items in their designated locations, maintaining an orderly and accessible inventory.
Inspect materials for quality and accuracy against orders, and report any discrepancies or defects to the relevant department.
Assist with other duties as required to support the production team and overall business operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, preferably within a manufacturing environment (not essential).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Basic computer skills, with experience in inventory management systems being advantageous.
Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items as required.
