Service Manager – Vacuum Technology
Are you a seasoned leader looking for your next career challenge? We are working with a global leader in vacuum technology, who is seeking a Service Manager to lead their UK Service and Support operations. This role is based at their Chessington site and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for team leadership and customer service excellence.
About the Role:
As a Service Manager, you will oversee a team of 12, including on-site mechanics, technicians, and Field Service Engineers who travel to customer sites across the UK. While the role is predominantly office-based, you will have the opportunity to visit customer sites and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate resources at the Chessington Service Centre to ensure all customer service needs are met.
Implement service planning strategies, review performance standards, and develop continuous improvement programs.
Manage the timely processing of invoices, employee time tracking, parts orders, service plans, quotes, and follow-ups.
What We're Looking For:
Strong leadership and team management experience, ideally in a service or technical environment.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage resources and priorities effectively.
Willingness to travel and meet customers as part of the role.
What's On Offer:
Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on experience.
