Sales Administrator
Permanent Opportunity
Dudley
Hours of Work: 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4pm Friday
with 1-hour unpaid Lunch
We are working in partnership with an excellent Steel Stockholder who are recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator/Account manager on a permanent basis.
Ideally you will have industry knowledge and be passionate and have excellent account manager experience.
The Role and Responsibilities.
* Manage and maintaining customer accounts.
* Manage and maintain customer stock profiles and back-to-back commitments.
* Manage and maintain Sales contract orders.
* Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are unavailable.
* Answer customer queries, informing them of delays and arranging delivery dates.
* Check all orders received have the correct information (price, PO etc.)
* Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
* Communicating with other departments to resolve any queries regarding production, transport, quality, or finance.
* Face to face customer visits when required.
* Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.
* Monitor schedules to ensure all jobs are produced in time for the customers required delivery date.
Sales Account Manager requirements:
* Customer centric with good interpersonal skills.
* Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Fluent and effective communication skills; written, verbal and electronic.
* Good admin and organisational skills.
* Creative and confident in finding solutions to everyday challenges.
* Steel experience.
