As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support our services. Your focus will be on best practices surrounding AWS solutions, security, performance, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Infrastructure as code
* Basic VPC skills
* NACL
* Route tables
* Subnets
* IP reservations in subnets (taking a range of IPs out of the dynamic DHCP pool)
* Route 53, Route 53 in-bound/out-bound resolver
* DHCP option set in VPC
Qualifications:
* Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and be able to demonstrate a passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
* Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality with strong decision making and analytical abilities.
Minimum Qualification:
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Desirable:
* AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
* AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty
Desirable Requirements:
* Transit Gateway, especially TGW routing tables
* S3 buckets deployment and security
* Migration tools
* Cloudwatch/Eventbus events
* Cloudwatch & SSM
* Good understanding of AWS SNS for alerting/notifications
* Setting up cross-account resources/access, including IAM
* End-point services
* Guard Duty
* Config
* IAM
* Tagging - enforce at the IAC level and should include
* EC2, RDS monitoring and Cloudwatch
* A working understanding of BGP
* Programming skills: Python3, Bash
* Git and repositories
* Architecture and design skills
