Smile Education are recruiting on behalf a primary school based in Erdington for a 1:1 support teaching assistant.
Roles and responsibilities:

Providing individualised 1:1 support to a child based in KS1.
Working with the child to support transition back into the main classroom.
Following and working towards the child’s educational health care plan (EHCP).
Building a good rapport with the child and family, creating a strong parent partnership.
Completing reports on the child’s progress and development.
Creating a safe and engaging learning environment for the child.Are you committed to supporting children’s development and progress?
Ideal applicants must:

Hold a level 2 minimum supporting teaching and learning qualification (or equivalent)
Show effective experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis in an education setting.
Have strong knowledge of supporting children with SEND, specifically supporting non-verbal children.Smile Education will provide you with a consultant that specialises in your area. They will be able to advice and guide you through your role. Competitive rates of pay will be offered to match your skillset and expertise also.
