Learning Support Assistant | Birmingham, B66 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024 start

LTF Recruitment is seeking a patient and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our respected partner primary school in Smethwick. This rewarding position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the classroom by assisting the teacher in maintaining a productive and positive learning environment. The school is looking for the right candidate to join them on a long-term basis, and for the right candidate the school is looking to make this role permanent.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, ensuring they have access to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet the specific needs of each student.
Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to create a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere.
Support students in their academic and social development.
Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents as required.
Help maintain a safe and organised classroom setting.What we are looking for:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational establishment.
Experience supporting children with SEN.
Experience working with students individually and in small groups, as well as leading intervention sessions to support their education.
Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.About the School:
