QC Technician (9-month temporary position)
An exciting new opportunity is available for a QC Lab Technician on a temporary (9 month) basis at a leading polymer manufacturer in the Lancashire area. As the QC Lab Technician you will be responsible for undertaking Quality Control testing and reporting any non-conformances. You will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment.
As QC Lab Technician you will have previous experience in a Laboratory and/or Quality Control environment. You will also have a relevant higher vocational qualification or above in a scientific discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain laboratory equipment and area.
QC testings of materials and end products.
Materials testings: DSC, tensile, impact.
Identify non-conforming materials.
Manage day to day problem solving.
Requirements:
Previous industrial experience in a QC environment.
Experience within the polymer field would be useful.
Experience with mechanical/materials testing is highly desirable.
HND and higher in a scientific discipline.
