Job Description:
As a ServiceNow Consultant specialising in Configuration Management Database (CMDB), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimising our client's IT infrastructure. This contract position, operating outside IR35, provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's mission.
Responsibilities:
CMDB Implementation and Optimisation:
Lead the implementation and optimisation of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.ServiceNow Platform Expertise:
Leverage in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform to design, configure, and customise CMDB modules according to best practices.
Provide expertise in managing relationships between configuration items and ensuring data accuracy.Integration and Automation:
Integrate CMDB with other ServiceNow modules and third-party systems to enhance automation and data consistency.
Implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline CMDB processes.Documentation and Training:
Create comprehensive documentation for CMDB configurations, processes, and best practices.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams to ensure effective utilisation of CMDB functionalists.Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in CMDB processes and implement enhancements.
Stay abreast of industry trends and ServiceNow updates to recommend and implement new features.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Consultant with a focus on CMDB.
Strong expertise in designing and implementing CMDB solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
Experience in integrating CMDB with other ServiceNow modules and external systems.
Proficient in ServiceNow scripting and automation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
ServiceNow certification(s) is a plus.
