We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attendance Officer to join a team at a friendly primary school in South Sheffield. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth management of student attendance and supporting the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date attendance records for all pupils.
Liaising with teaching staff, external agencies, and parents to ensure effective communication regarding attendance.
Monitoring and reporting on attendance patterns and concerns to senior staff.
Assisting with additional administrative tasks or reception duties as required.Requirements:
Prior experience working in a school office, specifically in an attendance role.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively with staff, external agencies, and parents.
Proficiency in school management software and Microsoft Office.
A proactive, solution-focused approach with attention to detail.Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm
