Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting a highly skilled Graphic CAD Designer with expertise in 2D and 3D design within the signage industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using industry standard design software to prepare and adapt client artwork for production, metal fabrication, and CNC processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Artwork Preparation: Adapt client artwork using software like CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop for print production, ensuring bleed, colour accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.

File Creation for Fabrication: Create nesting files for sheet metal fabrication and flatbed CNC routers and convert artwork into file formats suitable for CNC routers, laser cutters, and engraving machines.

Signage Design Packs: Produce scaled drawing packs for signage projects, ensuring compliance with local council planning standards.

Signage Visuals: Design signage solutions for clients in sectors such as logistics and warehousing, including interior wayfinding systems, bespoke wall graphics, and banner displays.

Barcode Integration: Develop barcodes for signage to assist clients in product identification for on-site storage locations.

Exterior Signage: Create CAD drawings for exterior signage installations, detailing steel, façade, and groundwork locations, while accounting for any present services or utilities.

3D Rendering: Produce 3D rendered visuals using Autodesk 3DS Max and SolidWorks to accurately depict proposed signage, including illumination features.

Artwork Adaptation: Edit and repurpose existing client artwork to suit new signage requirements while maintaining brand consistency.

Key Skills:

Technical Drawing: Create highly detailed technical drawings for signage and architectural projects, supporting planning applications and production.

3D CAD Models: Develop precise 3D models and accompanying technical drawings to illustrate complex signage structures and support production teams.

Print-Ready Files: Ensure all artwork is ready for print and compatible with vinyl plotters, digital printers, and CNC routers.

Vinyl Assistance: Assist with vinyl plotting and application for signage projects, or prepare and safely package items for transportation.
