Stores Supervisor – Administration
Part time would be considered for the right applicant.
Our client is a stable and profitable business where there is long term growth for the right applicant. They are looking for a reliable, flexible and well organised individual who will be responsible for the administration of the company’s busy stores department.
The ideal candidate will ideally have some knowledge of import and export shipping procedures. However, a quick learner with excellent, proven organisational skills and excellent communication skills would be considered. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and help us to achieve our shipping targets.

Main duties & responsibilities
* Manage the day to day processing of goods received.
* To arrange and record all shipments leaving the company, including packing products and liaising with couriers.
* To maintain accurate computerised stock records, including the issue of stock to bills of materials and to carry out quarterly stock checks.
* To be responsible for the company’s recycling and safe disposal of waste materials.
* Any other duties as required.
Qualifications & skills
* IT literate and proficient in MS Office.
* GCSE in Mathematics and English.
* Strong communication skills.
* Pleasant and confident telephone manner.
* Self-motivated to succeed and be able to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and with others, in making things happen.
* Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a sense of humour.
* Providing a high level of customer service and care.
* Practical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Please note: Applicants may need their own transport as this role is in a rural location.
Renumeration: Starting salary up to £25,000 dependant on experience
Usual 37½ hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, with 45 minutes for lunch and 8:00am to 12:30pm Friday
20 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day every 2 years up to a maximum of 30 days, plus bank holidays.
Auto enrolment pension scheme with Scottish Widows, 4% employer, 5% employee.
