Westwood Recruitment are recruiting for a Technical Sales Administrator for our client based in Croydon. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring five days per week in the office for the first 12 months then move to hybrid after this period.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with internal and external customers, including Sales Managers, Service Engineers, and end users, via phone and email on a daily basis.
* Review and analyse incoming requests, identifying any inconsistencies, and provide timely responses with the relevant information.
* Address customer inquiries and issues, ensuring a thorough understanding of specific requirements and product features.
* Prepare and verify initial quotations in accordance with discount policies and Sales Manager guidelines, ensuring accurate part numbers, quantities, and details.
* Submit quotations to customers, ensuring the relevant Sales Manager is able to follow up as necessary.
* Process customer purchase orders through the local ERP system.
* Communicate order updates and changes effectively with the dispatch/warehouse teams.
* Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and other customer-requested materials.
* Handle sales returns and credits as needed.
* Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Review and validate quotations created by the Sales Admin team, ensuring accuracy in cost and pricing before the offer is finalized (four-eye principle).
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
* Experience working within an ERP system.
* Ability to identify component parts from technical drawings.
* Experience in a mechanical engineering environment is advantageous.
* Knowledge of export regulations post-Brexit is essential.
* Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external customers.

* Permanent, full-time contract.
* £35k – £39k depending on experience.
