About the role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA): Are you a dedicated HLTA looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and supportive primary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly school in Colindale, London. In this full-time, long-term role, you will work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing valuable support to students and helping them to reach their full potential. You’ll play an essential role in working alongside class teachers, leading small group sessions, and occasionally stepping in to cover whole classes. Application Requirements:

• Has experience working in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Holds relevant HLTA qualifications or equivalent.
• Can confidently lead classes and small group interventions.
• Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and well-being.
• Has strong communication and organisational skills.
• Is adaptable, patient, and committed to working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting class teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Leading small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and other key areas.
• Covering full classes when necessary, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
• Helping students with additional needs, offering tailored support where needed.
• Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a positive learning environment.
