Overview
This position provides basic customer service, running the cash register, taking food orders, kitchen cleaning, miscellaneous jobs including but not limited to stocking items and food preparation.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Taking customer orders
Operating the cash register
Preparing food orders
Preparing items for salad bar (i.e., wash and cut up vegetables, slice meats, eggs etc.)
Assists with closing duties (i.e., putting food away, emptying the garbage and general cleaning)
General cleaning of kitchen area
Operating a conveyor dishwashing machine
Monitors food quality
Follows food safety practices
Measures proper food portioning with a scale
Inspects quality of own work
Performs other duties as assigned or needed
Qualifications
Previous food industry experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently
Customer service skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Ability to work under stress
Visually read recipes, orders, product labels, etc.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills
Ability to perform the essential duties with efficiency and accuracy
