About the role: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have a heart for supporting young learners with Down Syndrome? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with children with Down Syndrome, providing personalized support to enhance their learning and development. You will be an integral part of a supportive team, helping to create an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with Down Syndrome or similar special educational needs.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs and helping them thrive.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs would be advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering tailored educational support to children with Down Syndrome, ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies and interventions.
• Support students in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Provide personal care and encouragement to help students achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
