About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: Join a warm and inclusive community in Camden as a SEN Teaching Assistant, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students with Global Developmental Delay (GDD). In this fulfilling position, you’ll work closely with children on a 1:1 basis, focusing on helping them develop key skills such as speech and language, motor coordination, and social interaction. Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with SEN students, particularly those with Global Developmental Delay (GDD).
• A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or Teaching Assistance (preferred but not essential).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and SENCO to implement learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to students with GDD.
• Assist with developing fine/gross motor skills, speech, and language.
• Foster personal, social, and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCO for tailored learning plans.
• Monitor and report progress to ensure each child’s success.
