Tower Cold Chain supports the global pharmaceutical and life science industries delivering lifesaving temperature controlled shipments. Our uniquely innovative containers maintain the cold chain, preventing shipments being spoiled or delayed, and delivering temperature sensitive products to patients on time and to help save lives.

Key Deliverables

You will be responsible for

* Design and Drafting

* Translate customer needs into design briefs

* Design products to meet design briefs

* Create drawings and specifications

* Specify product testing requirements

* Include sustainability in all choices

* Quality control

* Own Product life cycle documentation and information

* Control drawings, specifications, instructions and safety data

* Control changes to products, documents and information

* R&D and New Product Development

* Create new designs and concepts

* Analyse and evaluate technologies and materials

* Research, evaluate and document new technology, techniques and materials

* Discover and evaluate new suppliers

* Train and advise colleagues on useful results of research

* Compliance with Tower’s Integrated Management System and internal processes.

* Work with and evolve procedures

* Be ambassador for quality and H&S

* Delivery of projects

* Accountable for actions

* Communicate progress

* Collaborate with others

Job Requirements

Education:

- Degree/Diploma in Design, Engineering or a relevant science desirable Experience

Experience:

- Work experience within a similar role in a design or engineering team

Additional training:

- Working knowledge of computational simulation technology

- Working knowledge of chemical and electrical engineering

- CAD/CAM

- Project and programme management

- Excellent Office IT skills

- Self-motivated

- Independent working

- Attention to detail

- Excellent written and oral communication

- Data analysis

- Work with and develop multiple process and systems
