£600.00 - £700.00 Per day, via an Umbrella, inside of IR35 scope.
Job Duties:
Develop and implement category strategies to optimise procurement processes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements
Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement
Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues that may arise
Track and report key performance indicators related to category management
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar role
Demonstrable expertise in procurement and supply chain management
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent understanding of procurement best practises and market trends
Proficiency in contract negotiation and supplier management
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong project management skills
Sector exeperience isn't key, although an understanding of regulated categories would be an advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification
Working Conditions:
The role is 3 days office based (Coventry) with two days working from homr
