Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for various product categories
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs
Ensure compliance with company's procurement policies and procedures
Monitor and report on category performance metrics
Provide insight on market trends and supplier capabilities
Develop team members through coaching and mentoringProfile
A successful Category Manager should have:
A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Proven experience in a procurement role within the FMCG industry
Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead and develop a teamJob Offer
A competitive salary range of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Additional £6,000 car allowance
