Caddy Group is looking to speak to Buyers for a well-established M&E contractor based in Dartford,Kent The role will be a full-time office based role.

Act as a contact for suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers. Manage goods delivery in a timely manner

* Build relationships with key suppliers. Ensure continuity of supply and cost reduction

* Identify risks from the ever evolving procurement environment, set up and implement a risk mitigation plan to maintain consistent supply levels.

* Maintain database and determine stock levels in distribution and monitor availability of components and stock longevity.

* Organize periodic supplier audits and evaluation, ensuring continuation of suitable suppliers on approved suppliers register

* Compiling and maintaining purchase records, supplier databases and procurement contracts

As a Buyer, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Strong expertise in Procurement;

- Able to benchmark market pricing and negotiate revised terms with the supplier base accordingly;

- Hard working spirit, can deliver to tight deadlines and workplace pressures;

- Results orientated; proactive, can-do work attitude;

- Able to be a credible ambassador for the team,

- Strong office system skills (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).

- Ability to analyse large quantities of data and produce subsequent reports from this data.
