The Opportunity

This is a newly created role to provide support to our colleagues and ensure that plant Health and Safety performance complies with our requirements. You'll be defining and implementing appropriate procedures and proposing actions to further improve the Health & Safety performance and assurance of safe operations including the training of Plant employees on Occupational Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor compliance with Health and Safety standards across all cement operations.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying potential risks and supporting the implementation of corrective actions promptly.

Develop and deliver H & S training programmes to promote awareness and enhance safety culture.

Prepare and maintain H & S documentation, reports, and records for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a proactive approach to HSEQ matters.
Who are you?

Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role within the cement or construction industry.

Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with all levels of the organisation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risk and implement solutions.

Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent are highly desirable.
