Can you offer consistency and a safe routine to a reception aged child to help them flourish in their early years at school?If yes, I am recruiting for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support for an autistic child who thrives on routine and consistency.

Position: Teaching Assistant (One-on-One Support)
Location: Camden
Type: Long Term role, 5 days a week, 8:30am-4:30pm

Daily Rate: £85-£100 per day.

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a wonderful child on the autism spectrum, helping them navigate their educational and social journey with structure and care. The child is new to the school and requires routine and consistency with the right 1-1. The child does not have high needs, is verbal, just needs your support in creating a supportive, predictable environment that fosters growth and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one assistance tailored to the child's unique needs, focusing on routines and consistent strategies.

Help establish and maintain daily routines to provide stability and predictability for the child.

Assist in the development of essential skills, including communication, social interactions, and academic tasks.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure a cohesive support strategy.

Foster a positive and nurturing environment that supports the child's development and well-being.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working with autistic children or in a similar role is preferred.

Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders, excellent communication, and patience.

Empathetic, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality, individualised support.
