As a Quality Inspector you will work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality parts for our customers. You will play a key role in delivering quality components and assemblies, supporting both prototype and series production projects.
Your responsibilities as a Quality Inspector:
* Carry out product tests and thorough independent final inspections of finished assemblies, formally reporting all defects.
* Inspect components at all stages of the manufacturing process, including Goods-In Inspection.
* Maintain accurate build and inspection records, ensuring all incidents of non-conformance are recorded.
* Support process improvement activities and alert the Quality Manager to ongoing issues, providing resolutions.
* Control the Quarantine Area and manage the stock of calibrated tools and equipment.
* Prepare inspection reports, inspection checklists, and other required documentation, performing capability studies and other QA functions as needed.
Your current experience which will help you as a Quality Inspector:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades C and above) and at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant role and industry.
* Proven experience in a Quality Department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Experience in electrical systems or wire harness manufacturing and inspection.
* Proficient in the use of MS Excel and competent in other Office 365 suite software.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Fluent in English with the ability to document and report accurately.
