Who we are::

Are you an experienced assistant or LVT looking for a change of pace? The Stratford Hills Veterinary Center, a well-established three-doctor small animal general practice, seeks to add an assistant or licensed Veterinary Technician to our friendly team. Our hospital boasts a recently renovated facility, and an enjoyable ‘Fear Free’ working environment. We are dedicated to active learning and our Technicians / Assistants play an integral role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients. We provide preventative care, emergency care, routine surgical procedures, dental radiography and cleanings, laser therapy, and more.

Our ideal candidate is an established LVT or an assistant and should have the following skills:

Good patient restraint for examinations and procedures

Can administer medications and vaccines orally, topically, and subcutaneously

Has a strong understanding of commonly used medications and preventatives

Can perform various tests on biological samples including urine and blood

Can capably perform proper radiographic technique including correct positioning

Can manage digital medical records accurately

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and rotating weekend shifts. Fear-free certification and knowledge of Avimark software are beneficial but not a requirement. Top priority will be given to experienced candidates.
