NaphCare is hiring experienced Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) CNA/CMA to join our team at the Mesa County Detention Center located in Grand Junction, CO. Come learn correctional healthcare as you use our cutting-edge resources, including our award-winning electronic operating system. Pay rates range from $19.00-$23.00 per hour based on type of license, certification, Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, licensure, and experience. This position also requires QMAP certification.

This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.
Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities:
Document and administer medications according to written physician's orders
Take and document vital signs, height and weight
Assist with PPDs and EKGs
Assist with examinations and/or treatments as needed
Report all changes in patients’ conditions
Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes
Qualifications:
Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):
Colorado or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants.
This position requires a QMAP certification along wthh CMA.
Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
A valid CPR card
A minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred.
