Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying applications, software, and services in the cloud, using Generative AI to do so, and ensuring seamless deployment and optimal performance. You will work directly with customers to understand their business challenges and assist in implementing robust data, AI/ML, or application solutions across mission needs. This role involves engaging in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create cutting-edge cloud solutions tailored to customer needs. You will also author customer-facing content such as whitepapers, workshops, demos, and proof of concepts, while building strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders to ensure customer success. Additionally, you will capture and share best practices within the solutions architect community, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. This position is located in Reston, Virginia and it is a hybrid role.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, application migration, or software design, preferably within government or regulated environments.
US Citizenship
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud-native services.
Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Strong understanding of machine learning and AI ecosystems and experience in designing ML/AI solutions.
Proven ability to lead architectural discussions and implement secure cloud solutions in line with government compliance standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience deploying and optimizing generative AI workloads in production.
Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training
Pre-sales engineering, technical business development, strategic partnerships, or program/product management experience
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key in a matrix environment.
Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect).
