Mission of the Role:

The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards.

Essential Job Functions:

Assists in the preparation, production, and service of food for restaurant, banquet, and associate functions

Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications

Maintain standars of sanitation an ahere to food safety regulations

Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc.

Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management

Qualifications:

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous experience as a cook preferred

Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds, including stocking shelves above eye level

Must be able to bend, twist, lift, and stand for the duration of a shift
