Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on regular intervals 

Troubleshoot PLC's and drives

Respond to reported automation, vision, and robot issues

Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical problems with machines 

Replace necessary components such as sensors, electric wiring, cylinders, bearings, conveyors, motors, air/vacuum lines and valves

Work with assembly line operators as needed to troubleshoot issues 

Communicate all changes and all-important information to Manager or supervisor 

Ensure all system performances are optimized and running safely 

Record accurate production data that includes all necessary information needed for tracking purposes 

Perform housekeeping duties as necessary 

Support and maintain policies of the company including ISO standards, Health & Safety requirements, continuous improvement, and standard work procedures 

Report unsafe conditions and behaviors 

Relieve assembly line operators as needed to meet production requirements 

Qualifications:

Effective written and oral communication skills 

Must be mechanically inclined and electrically proficient 

Must be safety and quality conscience at all times 

5-7 years of maintenance & automation experience preferred 

Ability to work under limited supervision 

Additional training may be required retain position 

Must be familiar with the operation of PLC's, drives, and robots 

Must be responsibile, self-motivated, and team orientated. Must be able to make decisions with minimal supervision 

Must have willingness to take a "hands-on" approach during times of process interruption
