Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton
Salary: Competitive rates, dependent on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with diverse needs, helping them achieve their full potential. You'll work closely with teachers and other professionals, providing one-to-one or group support, adapting learning materials, and ensuring a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Assist with personalised learning plans and activities
Promote independence and social interaction
Help create a safe and nurturing classroom environment
Requirements:
Previous experience as an SEN TA or in a similar role is preferred
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential)
A positive attitude and a passion for helping children succeed
