Part time Commercial Financial Assistant/Analyst
Leeds based. (potential for Hybrid working)
£29,000 per Annum Pro-Rata

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Commercial Financial Assistant (initially 3 days per week) to join our Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with the Financial Director and Group Management Accountant, assisting with a variety of day-to-day financial tasks that drive the success of our portfolio companies.
Key Tasks
* Basic monthly cashflow for multiple businesses using already existing information
* Weekly running of 3rd party data for consolidation and analysis
* Support to Finance Manager and FD with information that feeds into the monthly management accounts
Experience
* Worked within finance already
* Financial report preparation, covering examples of the following (the below aren’t all essential, but an example of such things will be required):
* Management Accounts
* KPI packs
* Cashflow forecasts
* Nominal ledger analysis
* Potentially a bookkeeper or management accountant that covers more than just management accounts, as this role would only touch Mgt Accounts and would more entail the surrounding aspects of financial reporting and analysis
* Cashflow
* Small amount of debt chasing
* Weekly income and margin analysis
Required Skills
* Able to work to routine deadlines for weekly reports
* Flexibility around working on multiple tasks/businesses within a Group structure
* Ability to interpret information and add headline observations
* Advance Excel and spreadsheet skills essential
* Ability to work with and improve existing systems using their own initiative
The role requires an advanced knowledge of Excel, as this is a key tool for managing and analysing financial data.
