Job Advertisement: Temporary School Office Manager – Primary School in Erdington, Birmingham
Twenty4Seven Education is currently recruiting a School Office Manager on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Erdington, Birmingham. This is a temporary, long-term position with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact in the school office, handling inquiries from staff, students, parents, and visitors.
* Manage the day-to-day administration of the school, ensuring the office runs smoothly.
* Handle finance responsibilities, including processing invoices, budget management, and financial reporting.
* Line manage two school administrators, providing guidance and support.
* Oversee general administrative duties such as updating records, filing, and correspondence.
Working Hours:
* 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a school office environment is essential.
* Previous experience as a school office manager desirable but if you are an experienced school administrator ready for a step up in responsibility then you will be considered.
* Experience in finance administration is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage a small team and work efficiently in a busy environment.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
