The Role – PRU Teaching Assistant

As a PRU Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students aged 5 - 16 in developing vital life skills, with the aim of aiding their reintegration into mainstream education. The role requires managing challenging behaviour, so prior experience in behaviour management is essential. While experience in a PRU or similar setting is preferable, a background in tutoring or mentoring is also valued, as the school has a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy.
