Finance Assistant
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Location: Ringwood, Hampshire
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Main Responsibilities:
* Invoicing: Accurately prepare, generate, and send client invoices on time.
* Quote Management: Support the preparation and follow-up of quotes, ensuring all required documentation is in place.
* Credit Control: Track outstanding invoices and proactively pursue overdue payments to ensure timely collection.
* Accounts Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling accounts, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately.
* Data Management: Maintain up-to-date financial records and regularly update the accounting system with relevant data.
* Excel Proficiency: Leverage Excel for financial analysis, including spreadsheet creation, formula use, and report generation.
* Collaboration: Liaise with various departments to resolve billing issues and provide support to the finance team when needed.
* Reporting: Generate regular reports on debtors, outstanding invoices, and payment progress.
Skills/Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a finance assistant or credit control role.
* Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management, formula use, and report generation.
* Accounting Systems: Familiarity with accounting software is desirable.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
* Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
* Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
* Team Player: Collaborative approach with the ability to contribute positively within a team environment.
