Scope of the post

This is an administrative role which requires an individual to process transactions with an organised approach in a fast-paced high-volume environment. The Finance Assistant supports with managing accounts payable functions for multiple entities within the AVASK group of companies operating across different countries, utilising the NetSuite ERP system.

Key Accountabilities

• Raise Monthly Billing and Credit Notes, in a timely and accurate manner.

• Undertake investigations on behalf of clients and internal stakeholders including non-payment of invoices.

• Process and create letters and monthly statements.

• Allocate payments and reconcile client accounts.

• Liaise with stakeholders internally/externally and resolve outstanding queries.

• Access Credit limits and obtain management accounts.

• Contact clients by telephone and email to collect outstanding monies.

• Credit checking client and maintain client information.

• Resolving client queries and raising credit notes.

• Other Ad-hoc duties.

Skills, knowledge, and experience

• Experience working in Accountancy/Finance / Credit Control department.

• Confident and with excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement.

• AAT/ATT or Degree in Accountancy.

• Excellent verbal and writing skills.

• Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Works well in a small team as well as independently.

• Excellent multi-tasking ability.

• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Software knowledge: Sage/NetSuite or Kashflow
