Job Description:
As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of metal components used in the production of garage doors. You will work with various metals, primarily steel, to create durable and aesthetically pleasing products that meet our stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on various metal components, ensuring strong, clean welds.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and structures according to specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Operate cutting, bending, and shaping equipment to produce metal parts.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Physical ability to perform tasks requiring strength and stamina.
Welding certification or relevant qualifications (preferred but not required)
