My client is seeking a skilled MIG Welder/ Fabricator to joint their team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for using power tools and hand tools to assemble and fabricate metal components. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and welding experience to showcase their skills and contribute to our manufacturing process.

Based in Halesfield, in Telford.

Working hours Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 & Friday: 07:30 - 13:30

Responsibilities of a Mig Welder/ Fabricator:

* Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to specifications

* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

* Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as necessary

* Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control

* Use hand tools and power tools to cut, grind, and shape metal

* Assist in the fabrication of sheet metal part

* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements of a Mig Welder/ Fabricator:

* Ability to tig weld but not required (desirable)

* Working on site if required (hours will be slightly different)

* Mig weld 3mm to 40mm mild steel.

* Read drawings for dimensions, material etc.
