Supply Chain Coordinator
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing and highly successful retail wholesale business. As part of a dynamic team, you’ll be contributing to continued expansion and evolution.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure the seamless flow of stock, optimizing efficiency for our clients customers. You'll play a key role in reviewing and refining processes, helping to maximize product availability while minimizing overstock. With plenty of scope for personal and professional growth, you'll gain deeper insight into diverse product ranges and business operations. This is an exciting time to join, as our client continuously evolve product offerings, sourcing strategies, and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate supplier orders from both the UK and Europe
Process ‘Shopping Cart’ orders for genuine spare parts
Verify order confirmations against placed orders
Communicate any cost variances to the appropriate manager
Respond to both internal and external inquiries regarding ‘out of stock’ ETAs
Allocate transport costs to deliveries, ensuring accurate margin calculations in the system
Track and expedite orders, updating expected delivery dates in the system
Manage obsolete stock in the system and notify Sales or Spares teams of unfulfilled back orders
Analyze changes in demand to adjust replenishment levels accordingly
Utilize sales data to identify product trends and forecast future sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance communication
Assist the Supply Chain Manager with imports from China
Maintain the Availability Report
Investigate invoice discrepancies and request credit notes as needed
Skills & Experience:
Strong proficiency in mathematics and Microsoft Excel
Experience in supply chain and retail distribution is preferred
Excellent IT skills, with familiarity with Seqol being a plus
A desire to continuously develop and refine skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding communication abilities
Exceptional problem-solving skills
