One of my top clients, who are an industry-leading RC Frame, Groundworks firm are currently looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that an organisation and its employees adhere to the company’s safety standards and policies.
Responsibilities:
* Carrying out safety risks assessments prior to starting a new project
* Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety standards.
* Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches
* Staying up to date with health, safety, and environment regulations
* Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing external contractors
* Conducting in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness
* Tracking incident metrics and applying finding
* Pre-construction / Construction Phase Plan and H&S file review and management.
* Undertake site audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findings.
Requirements:
* Nebosh Certificate in Construction Health & Safety.
* IOSH certificate (preferred).
* CSCS (preferred).
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent IT skills and experience in Microsoft Office / 365, including word, excel outlook, PowerPoint, teams, etc.
* A good understanding of CDM regulations and site H&S
