About Our Client:

Working as a Main Contractor delivering a variety of build projects. The core of the business is education or pharmaceutical. This business are the contractor choice when working under a Principle Contractor on large projects. They have exceptional relationships with tier 1 companies due to the standard they deliver to. They are growing, look after staff and retain top talent. Turnover is less than £50m but they deliver to tier 1 standards with the flexibility and personal touches of a smaller business

The Role:

The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for overseeing health and safety protocols, conducting accident investigations, providing safety training, and ensuring compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards. While the role is primarily located in Luton, there is flexibility for some remote work. You will be visiting sites and sharing advice, building a culture so that Health & Safety is delivered naturally and not as an afterthought. You will report into the Health & Safety Manager but will typically have selected sites that you manage directly. You may be considered if you have site experience and looking to move in to a Health & Safety role.

The Applicant:

The ideal candidate must have:

* Worked within Health & Safety with the Construction Industry, ideally for a Main Contractor

* Relevant Health & Safety qualifications, ideally IOSH or NEBOSH.

* Accident investigation experience.

* Experience writing up reports to the highest of standards.

It is desirable to have:

* Worked for a similar business in this exact role.

* As strong and stable CV, showing longevity of employers.
