Quality Technician/ Quality Engineer

My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer/ Quality Technician to join their team due to continued growth and expansion.

The Successful Quality Controller will have the following attributes:

Experience working in an engineering manufacturing environment
Experience using Excel to display data (can formulate trend graphs ect)
Experience with ISO auditing (ideally ISO 9001)
Good understanding of lean manufacturing techniques
Knowledge of quality problem solving tools
Ability to read engineering drawings
Ability to use handheld measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers
Experience inspecting machined parts
Experience inspecting inward goods
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experienced Processing audits
IT Literate
Experienced in dealing with customers

Quality Controller the role:

Perform first off inspections
Conduct internal audits and assist with processing external audits
Identify issues and come up with solutions using quality problem tools such as 8D, 5WHY
Write up inspection and Non-Conformance reports
Control all quality documentation
Take the lead in any ISO auditing reaccreditation
Liaise with customers and investigate any issues / complaints
