CAD Programmer – Laser/Press Brake.

An Oldham based company, specialists in sheet metal, fabrication, and specialist welding for the nuclear, pharmaceutical, aerospace and general welding sectors, are looking to recruit an experience CAD Programmer.

The company has recently made significant investment with a brand new 4mtr Bystronic Press Brake, and a Bystronic 6kw Fiber Laser.

Role Description

CAD Programmer - Laser/Press Brake.

Be responsible for programming and nesting parts for the laser and press brake.

Working closely with the production team to ensure that parts are programmed and manufactured to the correct specifications.

This role could be the ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to progress from a shopfloor role to office environment.

Qualifications

* Proficiency in CAD programming machinery such as lasers and press brakes

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential.

* Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, & BySoft would be beneficial.

* Experience in sheet metal and fabrication would be preferred.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

* Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7am -4:00pm Friday 7am to 12:00pm plus overtime when available. Salary £14 - £18 negotiable dependent on experience, performance pay and reviews, 24 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays automatic enrolment to pension.
