Role Overview
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for implementing the Strategic Quality Plan in collaboration with plant leadership. This role provides essential quality assurance support to customers, suppliers, partners, and internal manufacturing teams while actively participating in continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer Job in South Molton:

Customer and Supplier Interface: Serve as a quality liaison to ensure customer requirements are understood and satisfied. Lead complaint resolution and execute root cause and corrective actions.

Quality Data Analysis: Support manufacturing by collecting and analyzing quality data. Ensure product and process quality requirements are implemented through EQMS Policies and Quality Best Practices.
*
Problem Solving: Address technical product/process and business process issues using structured methodologies like 8D and Six Sigma.
*
Quality Management Systems: Develop, implement, and improve Quality Management Systems throughout the operation. Provide quality planning support for new product and process launches.
Skills and Qualifications for the Quality Engineer Job in South Molton:
* Strong understanding of problem-solving methods, including Six Sigma, 8D, and root cause analysis.
* Knowledge of Quality System requirements and effective new product development methodologies.
* Proficient in lean manufacturing techniques, including pFMEA, Critical to Quality characteristics, and Control Plans.
