Specific Responsibilities Would Include:

Job Overview:

We are actively seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Retail Planner to contribute to our dynamic team, with a specific focus on Walmart, including Walmart Canada and Sam’s Club. In this role, the emphasis will be on forecasting, assortment planning, inventory management, and sales reporting. The Senior Retail Planner will play a pivotal role in optimizing inventory levels and achieving sales targets, necessitating close collaboration with cross-functional teams, direct interaction with retailer planning teams, and proactive engagement with sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting and Inventory Management:Build and maintain ladder plans to track and forecast retail sales, receipts, and inventory.

Analyze in-season sales and inventory data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Report results and reforecasts monthly to provide Finance and Production with timely and accurate pre-season and in season projections and how we are tracking vs budget

Replenishment:Item Maintenance submissions and analysis (SROs, PPF, OBF, ordering inquiries, cross reference, etc.)

Manage communication with warehouse on flow goods to ensure on-time routing and proper allocation of Promo Orders, Initial Sets, and weekly replenishment

Execute business Opportunities / maintenance / ad hoc (SSOs, PNEWs, Pushes/SPAQ forms, etc.)

Weekly Customer Specific KPI Reporting: In-stock Report, FDC report, Supply Plan, PO tracking/shipping, updating retail link queries

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate extensively with sales teams to align forecasting and inventory strategies with overall business objectives.

Engage directly with retailer planning and replenishment teams to optimize inventory levels based on sales trends and customer demand.

Reporting and Presentation:Prepare and present tailored sales reports and forecasts to internal sales team and external retail partners.

Must possess ability to clearly communicate data-driven insights to internal and external teams, utilizing data visualization, power point presentations, and retail data

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:Proactively engage with retail partners, understanding their unique business needs and devising strategies to drive sales growth.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA a plus

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in retail planning, inventory management, or a related field, with a focus on mass market retailers.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, expert in Excel or other analytical tools.Experience with Vendor Portals a plus (Macys Partners, KLINK, Retail Link, etc.)

Communication: Excellent communication skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, sales teams, and direct interaction with retailer planning teams.

Organization: Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.

Proactive Approach: Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the retail industry with a specific focus on department stores and e-commerce trends.

Salary Range: $103,000 - $117,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
