Overview:

Our Project Management Service Line is currently seeking an experienced Accountant. This position will be based out of our Morristown, NJ office. 

Responsibilities:

Provide support to the Accounting Managers as directed by the Controller

Record and reconcile financial information

Review and post accounts payables and accounts receivables batches

Reconcile bank statements

Process monthly journal entries at the direction of the Accounting Managers

Assist in reviewing general ledger for accuracy prior to month-end close

Assist with the production of monthly reporting packages for clients

Assist with the budget process

Assist management with special projects when requested

And, of course, other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

University degree or college diploma in an accounting related field of study

Can work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and cope with changing priorities

Good communication skills verbal and written with the ability to collaborate and build relationships

Solid understanding of accounting principals and practices

Highly proficient in Microsoft office with an emphasis on Excel

Good overall computer skills

Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills

Self motivated with a positive attitude

Yardi Voyager and Kardin experience is an asset
