Salary $50,000 year
Title: Project Accountant
Classification: Non-Exempt
Scope of Position
Responsible for billing, payment allocations, collections and period ending reports
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Assist with Accounts Payable
Match invoice with purchase order
Verify items on invoice
Contact vendor as needed regarding discrepancies
Enter invoices into accounting systems
Make copies of invoices and checks
File invoices for payment
File paid invoices
Assist with Accounts Receivable
Prepare monthly invoice and required back up
Input invoices into accounting system
Enter cash receipts into accounting system
Maintain aging list of open invoices
Contact customer when invoices are outstanding
Complete bank reconciliations
Perform miscellaneous assignments requested by Controller
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirement.
Experienced in applying accounting principles
Must have working knowledge of “standard” software packages used at EDSI..
Good interpersonal skills
