Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities include:

Leads the development of vendor contractual agreements through close interactions with business areas and Corporate Legal

Develops and maintains effective relationships through understanding of business partners' needs while providing outstanding customer service

Applies the principles of supply management and conducts financial analysis in support of procurement decisions

Conducts vendor negotiations with varying levels of complexity including price, legal and business terms and other business area service level requirements

Applies vendor risk processes in alignment with Vendor Risk Management enterprise policy

Utilizes research and experience to develop and maintain expertise in products and services related to assigned area

Maintains awareness of industry issues (including regulatory), data security risks, and general business principles

Investigates and develops sources for products and services including diverse suppliers

Performs coordination activities related to the procurement of products and services

Qualifications:

We Are Seeking Candidates With:

Recent experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management with a focus on software and SaaS commodities.

Strong understanding of software trends, industry-specific terminology, and a proven track record of leading complex sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and/or critical vendor relationship management experience

Ability to effectively manage complex, strategic contract negotiations with significant risk components and high annual dollar value and impact to the organization

Procurement or Purchasing experience or equivalent education

Negotiation experience

Demonstrated learning agility and the desire for continuous growth inside and outside of current role

Ability and desire to drive results

Ability to quickly learn procure to pay software application and contract software application

Ability to work independently and drive resolution on complex issues spanning multiple teams

Strong oral and written communication skills

Additional Skills:

Working with or familiarity with some aspect of vendor contracts.  Master agreements, Work Orders, Service Level Agreements (SLA)/Key Performance Indicators (KPI) development, governance, etc.

Negotiation experience – contract negotiations preferred, however also consider other negotiation experiences as well. (Claims, Subrogation, sales, etc.)

Experience with competitive bid process such as Request For Information (RFI)/Purchase (P) or similar

Supply chain experience with a focus on inventory management

Experience in a similarly related area of the company such as External Sourcing, Law Department, etc

Additional Items of Note:

This role focuses on the purchase of products and services related to print needs for the entire Enterprise

May require changing shifts and irregular work hours

Work Location:  Corporate office in Bloomington, IL or Hub office in Tempe, AZ and Dunwoody, GA

Work Arrangement:  Hybrid with team collaboration of 5 in office days per month

Relocation Benefits:  Does not apply
