Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Bayview Asset Management is seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruiter to join the HR team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent in the financial services industry. The Recruiter will lead recruitment efforts, manage relationships with stakeholders, and provide strategic guidance to enhance our talent acquisition processes.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities as requested. Job duties may change as required by the needs of the firm.

Manage the full cycle recruitment process for operations and investment professionals, administrative staff, and interns across the organization for Bayview Asset Management and related entities.

Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs in line with strategic business priorities and goals.

Facilitate throughout the interview process; present candidate profiles, advise on interview best practices, co-write job descriptions, coordinate and schedule different interview formats including case studies and presentations, and gather timely feedback from interviewers and candidates.

Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and cultural fit.

Maintain and track recruiting activity in SharePoint and Applicant Tracking System.

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent; proactively find candidates through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, job boards, and by partnering with agencies and/or other channels.

Be the point of contact for all external recruiters at Bayview, know who to go to open roles, manage relationships with existing staffing agencies, vet and negotiate agreements with potential new third-party search firms as needed, and coordinate with internal vendor management as needed.

Utilize data and metrics to track recruitment Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Contribute to transformational efforts related to the entire talent acquisition function within Bayview, including improving overall candidate experience and new hire onboarding.

Coordinate with senior leadership and finance in preparing the annual hiring plan for each fiscal year.

Partner with other members of the HR Team and leadership and assist with additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software. Experience working with iCIMs a plus.

Strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Master's degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., CIR, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.

At least 8 years of recruiting experience in asset management or related fields.

LOCATION and COMPENSATION:

This role will be based in either Bayview’s Coral Gables, FL, or the New York, NY office, or can be remote. 

Base compensation is expected to be $100-120k* with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation. 

*Salary may vary based on work experience, market conditions, location, and qualifications/training.
