*Fulltime Position with benefits (Monday - Friday, no weekends)

Responsibilities:
Overview of Position:
Direct experience in preventative, curative, and chronic care to individuals
from pediatric to adult age (all ages) and with early stages of illness to chronic disease and
supervision. Ability to provide care for the patient's age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being. Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs.
Ability to comfortably perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), overview reads of EKGs and X-rays
Performing physical exams and patient observations.
Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
Creating short or long-term treatment plans and prescribing medication based on test findings.
Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
Managing and providing post-surgical care to patients.
Diagnosing health issues.
Administering medicine and other treatments.
Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in OR (or the ability to obtain)
OR DEA licensure (or the ability to obtain)
Minimum two years of experience highly preferred
Current ACLS,BLS,PALS,TNCC and other specialty specific certifications as required
