Responsibilities:
Under general direction of the Director, Associate Chief Nursing Officer and Site Administrator or designee, provide 24 hours leadership for clinical nursing practice of all ages or individually assigned units. Responsible for supervising assigned patient care staff, allocation of assigned staff and material resources to effect quality patient care outcome.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is required.
Masters Degree in Nursing preferred.
Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
A minimum of five (5) years related work experience and three (3) years supervisory experience is required.
Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
BLS Certification is required.
Knowledge and practice within one or more of the following areas Operating Room, PACU, Ambulatory Surgical Unit, and Endoscopy Departments for a minimum of 5 years perioperative staff nurse and 3 years Perioperative Management experience required.
Knowledge of Sterile Processing Department.
Experience in a collective bargaining environment
History of managing a minimum of 20 FTE
Experience in building staffing patterns and managing staff schedules required
Promote an atmosphere which facilitates collaboration and empowerment of staff
Demonstrated Process Improvement activity
Demonstrated committee involvement
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Pay Range:
