We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Manager to be accountable for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient stock to production flow. Responsibilities:

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory management of vehicle parts and vehicles at Model 1 in Summerville, SC. This role ensures that parts and vehicles are properly stocked, tracked, and managed to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The manager will work closely with other sites, coordinate inventory processes, and utilize inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

o Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate and efficient stock levels of vehicle parts and vehicles.

o Monitor inventory levels daily and perform regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.

o Maintain and update inventory records using [specify inventory management software/system].

o Forecast inventory needs and place orders for DNI parts based on consumption patterns and projected demand.

o Lead, supervise and mentor all inventory staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure optimal performance and teamwork. Set clear goals, provide feedback, foster a collaborative work environment and conduct performance evaluations.

2. Stock Audits and Reconciliation:

o Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

o Analyze inventory data to identify trends and implement corrective actions to address issues.

3. Warehouse and Storage Management:

o Oversee the organization and maintenance of the inventory storage area to maximize efficiency and safety.

o Ensure proper handling and storage of parts and vehicles to prevent damage and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

o Manage the logistics of receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.

4. Reporting and Analysis:

o Generate and analyze inventory reports to track key metrics such as turnover rates, stock levels, and order fulfillment.

o Provide detailed reports and recommendations to management for improving inventory processes and decision-making.

5. Compliance and Safety:

o Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in inventory management practices.

o Implement and enforce safety protocols for inventory handling and storage.

Qualifications:

Skills and Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred.

· Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools.

· Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

· Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

· Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, customers, and team members.

· Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing inventory and reconciling discrepancies.

· Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve inventory-related issues quickly and effectively.
